Advisory Board Members

Mr. Emmanuel Etaderhi
ABM. Finance and Investment
Mr. Etaderhi is the Head, Government Affairs Division of FMDQ Group PLC, comprising two (2) Groups – Government Relations and Regulatory Relations. He also serves as the Executive Secretary, Financial Centre for Sustainability, Lagos. Prior to this, he was the Head, Economic Development of FMDQ Group PLC.
He holds a Master’s degree in Management, a Master’s degree in Economics, and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Lagos, Nigeria.
Emmanuel’s work experience of over twenty-nine (29) years spans the Financial Services and Power & Energy Sectors, where he was Head of Financial Advisory & Economic Research at Financial Derivatives Company Limited, Head of Research at Keystone Bank Limited and Acting Head, Strategy/Chief Economist at Unity Bank PLC. Prior to joining FMDQ in 2014, he served the Delta State Government as a Special Assistant to the Finance Commissioner.

Dr. Natalie Beinisch
ABM. Circular Innovation and Partnership
Natalie Beinisch is the Executive Director of Circular Economy Innovation Partnership in Lagos, which focuses on research, advocacy and programming to promote Circular Economy business and investment in Nigeria. Before moving to Lagos, she set up the Engagement Programme for Aegon Asset Management’s Responsible Investment team in the Netherlands and headed the Academic Network at the United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment in London.
Prior to her work in sustainable finance, Natalie began her career at Duke Corporate Education, the world’s leading bespoke provider of executive education, where she designed, sourced faculty and delivered customised leadership programmes to Ericsson, AstraZeneca, HSBC and Shell among others. She has also held research and lecture positions at Lee Kuan Yew School at the University of Singapore and the Politics, Philosophy, Law and Economics programme at the University of Amsterdam. Natalie holds a PhD and an MSc from the London School of Economics and a BA from McGill University in Canada.

Mr. Oluwasegun Alao
ABM. Project management.
Mr. Oluwasegun Alao is the Director, Project Management Office at IHS Towers, Nigeria’s leading telecom infrastructure provider. He has over 9 years of experience in managing complex and interrelated deployment projects across the country, with a track record of delivering high-quality outcomes within budget and time constraints. He holds an MBA from Warwick Business School and a certificate in Inspirational Leadership from IMD.
As the head of the PMO, he leads a group of project managers who are responsible for the design, planning, installation, and commissioning of telecom networks and infrastructures for mobile network operators. He also oversees the deployment of innovative solutions to reduce OPEX and provide continuous optimized systems for excellent operations. He is passionate about driving innovation, providing world-class project management leadership and governance, and enabling the widest, most efficient, and reliable networks for business growth and sustainable development.
Executive Board Members
The Board of Directors assumes responsibility for the overall management, oversight and supervision of the leadership team and provides strategic direction, guidance to the leadership team, and assesses opportunities, risks, and the risk mitigation controls of the Company. The Board also oversees the establishment of an effective governance, risk and compliance regime.

Engr. Lamba Henry Danwawo
Executive Director/ Technical Lead
Henry Lamba is the Founder and CEO of Schrodinger Technologies Ltd., a company dedicated to clean water solutions, sustainable development, and renewable energy. Originating from Northern Nigeria, Henry’s early passion for engineering guided him to achieve a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bayero University, Kano, followed by an MBA in Finance and Investment. Henry has been recognized with numerous awards, including the National Winner of the UNIDO GCIP (Global Cleantech Innovation Program) 2023/2024, the NIES2022 Outstanding Innovation Award at the Nigeria International Energy Summit 2022, Winner of the WASH Innovation Fair 2.0 by the Nigerian Climate Incubation Centre/IHS, F4CS in 2023, and Winner of the Pitch for Transformation Challenge by CWG 2022 for Schrodinger Tech. He also secured the 2nd Runner-Up position at the Global Ericson Innovation Award (EIA2022) in Sweden, the 5th Position at the International Youth Summit (Presentation Challenge) in 2020, was a Finalist in the Fishbowl Challenge 2023 with Team Neptune, and received an Award of Excellence for Participation from the Mind-swap Initiative.
Henry has actively participated in various conferences, including COP 28 in Dubai 2023, the Conference of the Youth on Environment and Climate (COYEC) 2023, the Cop27 Simulation Model
by Engineers for a Sustainable Egypt in Cairo 2022, the International Youth Summit as the IYS Forum Deputy Campus Director in 2021, the Kaduna Youth Summit in 2019, the Nigerian International Energy Summit 2022, the West African Climate Energy Exhibition Conference 2022, and the International Youth Conference in Bangladesh 2021. His certifications reflect his commitment to ongoing learning and include a course on Values Reorientation and National Development from the School of Government and Politics, membership in the International Association of Engineers, participation in the Delegate Conference of the Youth on Environment and Climate (COYEC), and completion of the Mind Swap Initiative Cohort II on Nation Building, Politics & Governance. He is also recognized as a Friend for Sustainable Development Goals, has mastered the Africa Climate Change and Sustainable Development for Young Africa program, and attended the Nigeria International Energy Summit 2022 and the Oxford School of Climate Change 2021. Additionally, he holds a certification in Climate Change and Sustainable Development for Young Africans 2020 and is an ISERH Associate Ambassador.

Engr. Nurudeen Issa Muhammad
Executive Director, Project Management
Nurudeen Issa is a dynamic and passionate energy leader, climate activist, and Founder of Sirius-X Energy, a groundbreaking clean energy startup based in Nigeria. With a strong background in Mechanical Engineering and a specialization in Energy from Bayero University Kano, Nurudeen possesses a profound understanding of energy systems and a relentless drive to bring about positive change.
Driven by his vision to revolutionize access to clean energy technologies in Sub-Saharan Africa, Nurudeen established Sirius-X Energy. His relentless pursuit of a just and equitable energy transition has positioned him as a key influencer in the field.
Nurudeen’s expertise in energy innovation and climate-related activities has earned him prestigious accolades. Sirius-X Energy was honored with the Best Climate Mitigation Startup award by the Global Cleantech Innovation Program in collaboration with UNIDO. Additionally, Nurudeen led his team to secure the third-place position for the best clean energy business idea in Africa, recognized by the African Fellowship for Young Energy Leaders.
As a British Petroleum (BP) Net Zero Scholar, Nurudeen represented BP as their delegate in the impactful One Young World Summit. Addressing thousands of young individuals worldwide, he showcased his work and its role in advancing the global energy transition.

Barr. Balogun Sofiyullahi Esq.
Executive Director Legal/Cooperate Affairs
Balogun Sofiyullahi serves as Director and Legal Advisor at Sirius-X Energy. He provides strategic guidance on legal and regulatory matters supporting Sirius-X Energy’s growth in Nigeria’s dynamic clean energy sector.
With vast experience, Balogun offers expert advice on energy regulations, project development, financing, transactions, compliance and risk management. His background encompasses corporate law, litigation, and business consulting for energy, real estate and technology sectors among others.
As passionate about Africa’s renewable space, Balogun actively engages policymakers on reforms that enable sustainable energy expansion across the continent. He frequently publishes articles on pertinent topics surrounding law, business and technology in African markets.
A legal practitioner, Balogun holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree with honours from the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He belongs to several professional bodies in Nigeria and beyond.
Leveraging his robust legal expertise and strategic perspective, Balogun helps steer Sirius-X Energy’s growth strategy in Africa’s evolving renewables industry. His commercial acumen also proven invaluable in securing key partnerships and investor relationships.
Balogun is a distinguished Legal Practitioner vast in corporate law, litigation, advisory and consulting across industries. He leverages robust legal expertise with a solutions-focused and business-centric approach.
He has handled complex transactions, disputes and negotiations in energy, technology, real estate and other sectors.
Balogun has mastered unravelling intricate policies, regulations, and licensing protocols governing these industries in African markets.

Non-Executive Director

Engr. Reuben Kabantiyok
Materials Consultant | Non-Executive Director, Management Matters
Engr. Kabantiyok is a materials science and engineering consultant with extensive expertise in advanced materials characterization, failure analysis, and technology-driven solutions. He is currently a Cyber Fellow at The University of Tulsa, Oklahoma USA, and a Research Assistant with the Advance Materials Design Group where his research focuses on leveraging AI/ML tools for advanced analysis of material properties and transforming complex data into actionable insights for precision engineering and innovative materials solutions.
With over a decade of professional experience, Engr. Kabantiyok has provided strategic guidance in materials selection, quality control, and project development. At the Defence Industries Corporation of Nigeria (DICON), he led metallurgical investigations, conducted failure analyses, and developed characterization protocols for metals, metal matrix composites, polymeric composites, and advanced alloys, delivering solutions that improved performance and reliability across critical applications.
He holds an BEng in Metallurgical Engineering from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria and MSc in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology from the University of Glasgow, United Kingdom with expertise in atomic-scale imaging, semiconductor design, micro/nanofabrication, photolithography, and biosensing. He has expertise with advanced characterization techniques, including scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and atomic force microscopy (AFM), as well as microfabrication tools.
Engr. Kabantiyok is a proven leader and mentor, he has successfully guided multidisciplinary teams, ensuring project delivery, operational efficiency, and knowledge transfer.
Passionate about driving innovation and solving complex materials challenges, Engr. Kabantiyok works at the intersection of research, technology, and industry to provide practical, high-impact materials consultancy for organizations seeking reliable, optimized, and future-ready solutions.
