Henry Lamba is the Founder and CEO of Schrodinger Technologies Ltd., a company dedicated to clean water solutions, sustainable development, and renewable energy. Originating from Northern Nigeria, Henry’s early passion for engineering guided him to achieve a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bayero University, Kano, followed by an MBA in Finance and Investment.
Henry has been recognized with numerous awards, including the National Winner of the UNIDO GCIP (Global Cleantech Innovation Program) 2023/2024, the NIES2022 Outstanding Innovation Award at the Nigeria International Energy Summit 2022, Winner of the WASH Innovation Fair 2.0 by the Nigerian Climate Incubation Centre/IHS, F4CS in 2023, and Winner of the Pitch for Transformation Challenge by CWG 2022 for Schrodinger Tech. He also secured the 2nd Runner-Up position at the Global Ericson Innovation Award (EIA2022) in Sweden, the 5th Position at the International Youth Summit (Presentation Challenge) in 2020, was a Finalist in the Fishbowl Challenge 2023 with Team Neptune, and received an Award of Excellence for Participation from the Mind-swap Initiative.
Henry has actively participated in various conferences, including COP 28 in Dubai 2023, the Conference of the Youth on Environment and Climate (COYEC) 2023, the Cop27 Simulation Model by Engineers for a Sustainable Egypt in Cairo 2022, the International Youth Summit as the IYS Forum Deputy Campus Director in 2021, the Kaduna Youth Summit in 2019, the Nigerian International Energy Summit 2022, the West African Climate Energy Exhibition Conference 2022, and the International Youth Conference in Bangladesh 2021. His certifications reflect his commitment to ongoing learning and include a course on Values Reorientation and National Development from the School of Government and Politics, membership in the International Association of Engineers, participation in the Delegate Conference of the Youth on Environment and Climate (COYEC), and completion of the Mind Swap Initiative Cohort II on Nation Building, Politics & Governance. He is also recognized as a Friend for Sustainable Development Goals, has mastered the Africa Climate Change and Sustainable Development for Young Africa program, and attended the Nigeria International Energy Summit 2022 and the Oxford School of Climate Change 2021. Additionally, he holds a certification in Climate Change and Sustainable Development for Young Africans 2020 and is an ISERH Associate Ambassador.
